Tips for completing Mage Knight: Apocalypse - Main Missions # 089

Sneer: Asgard (Norway) - Rhyme duel with Thor.

Traveling through the Asgard region, you will have to fight Thor himself as part of a rally here. On this page you will learn where to find the god of thunder and how to win a rhyme duel with him.

You will start the game here, in the center of the Asgard region, at the southern tip of the main island, where you will begin your adventure here. The starting point is at the edge of the slope. Focus on catching him at the end of the path, not during the flight.

Express your willingness to take part in a verbal altercation with Thor, but you will not be able to bet on silver. During the conversation, select the following dialogue options:

It's better not to provoke me, because I'll give you an eye right away (option 2);
I'm as wise as an owl, but I'm hiding you like a buffoon (option 1);
Difficult advice, nothing foreshadows your victory (option 3).

If you choose at least two of the three dialogue options above, you will win a verbal match with the god of thunder. As a reward, your character will receive a charisma boost, but you won't get any silver because there were no bets.

Sacrificial Altar: Asgard (Norway) - The Altar of Ymir, a sacrifice in Asgard.

In the Norse mythical region of Asgard, you will encounter several additional activities and secrets, including a sacrificial altar. However, it differs from the others in that it requires you to find treasures scattered throughout Asgard. On this page, you will learn where to find the altar and how to receive the required offering.

Ymir's Altar is located in the eastern part of the main island of Asgard, where you begin your adventure. It is impossible to miss it, as the place for sacrifice is surrounded by columns and is clearly visible.

When you approach the altar, you will receive information that you need 30 stone halls of Ymir to make a sacrifice. These items can be obtained in Asgard - these are all gold dots on the map, which are replaced here with treasures such as ingots, studied books or equipment.

Most of the points are visible from the moment you enter Asgard, some you discover just by running past them. It's easy to get them - in most cases, it's enough to go to the chest and collect the mentioned stone tears of Ymir. Some of the boxes are locked, but you can always find this one a few dozen meters from the container.

Complete this task after completing all the story missions of Asgard. Without it, you won't get into some areas - so you won't get all the items you need to sacrifice. Check out Smarkets for fast-paced fun.
