Portland Story Theater’s annual Irish show at The Old Church Concert Hall
PORTLAND, OR ‒ February 16, 2018If you’re looking to get lucky for St. Paddy’s Day this year, look no further than Luck of the Irish, Portland Story Theater’s fourth annual celebration of all things Irish! There will be music, stories, dancing, poetry, fabulous raffle prizes, and a bit of the blarney for good measure. Hosted by Portland Story Theater founders Lynne Duddy and Lawrence Howard, Luck of the Irish will feature true, personal stories as well as some traditional Irish folktales, wonderful Irish music provided by Bob Soper (fiddle) and Elizabeth Nicholson (Celtic harp), a couple of bawdy Irish limericks, a wee bit of step dancing, a humorous Irish song or two, and the rare sounds of Irish Gaelic being spoken by Bruce Kenny and Jacinta Keyes-Hanlon. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Come on down and taste the flavors of the Emerald Isle with Luck of the Irish.
